René Vecka, CFA

René serves as a credit research analyst for the Easterly ROC Municipals Team.

Prior to joining Easterly, René spent over fifteen years as part of the former OppenheimerFunds/Rochester team. René has in-depth knowledge of the dirt-bond sector (special tax, special assessment, and tax increment financing), as well as experience with continuing care retirement communities, skilled nursing centers, hospitals, and other project financings.

René received his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Denver in Business Administration (emphasis on accounting) as well as a Master’s in Business Administration with an emphasis on finance. He is a CFA^® charterholder.
