Joshua is a Senior Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst at Easterly Investment Partners (EIP).

Prior to EIP, he was with Snow Capital, having joined at the firm’s inception in 2001. Joshua’s duties include security research, selection and portfolio management. Joshua earned a B.S. from Allegheny College and his M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh. Joshua is a Chartered Financial Analyst and member of the CFA Institute.

Q4 2022 SMID Cap Value Commentary

The Snow SMID Cap Value strategy outpaced the benchmark by 336 basis points during the quarter, rallying 12.57% gross of fees (12.39% net of fees), while the Russell 2500 Value index gained only 9.21%. For the year, the strategy outperformed the benchmark by 608 basis points, returning -7.00% gross of fees (-7.61% net of fees), while the Russell 2500 Value declined -13.08%.

Q4 2022 Small Cap Value Commentary

The Snow Small Cap Value strategy outpaced the benchmark by 584 basis points for the quarter, rallying 14.26% gross of fees (14.06% net of fees), while the Russell 2000 Value index gained only 8.42%.  For the year, the strategy outperformed the benchmark by 780 basis points, returning -6.68% gross of fees (-7.33% net of fees), while the Russell 2000 Value declined -14.48%.
